Women Equality
Women were thought of as inferior to men in the ancient society of Jerusalem. They were not able to leave the house with out the permission of their husband or father. When they were allowed of the house they were forbidden to talk to strangers. They had little or no authority and could not testify in court.
Slave Treatment
Slaves in this ancient society were not much different from the lower class worker. Slaves were not based on race but they worked hard and life was not easy
Social Hierarchy
At the top of the class system are priests, then under them are Levites, then Joseph Jews, then Tax collectors/outcasts/sinners, then Samaritans, then the Gentiles.
